Previously, in the 1984 Soviet Campaign of Cold Waters... We destroyed a 4-escort convoy and went back to Murmansk to resupply.

Welcome to Captain Chang Plays (CCP) Cold Waters. We are playing the 1984 Soviet Campaign, at a slightly lower difficulty level of "casual".

We have departed Murmansk, and our mission was originally to stop an American convoy bound for the port of Portsmouth UK. However, since we were late departing Murmansk, I deemed that mission impossible to achieve, so we are NOT going to try. Else we would be trapped on the west side of UK due to various ASW groups that way. Instead, we will fail the mission, and be assigned another.

HQ expressed minor disappointment, but assigned us to hunt a NATO convoy heading from Bergen to Andoya.

We intercepted the convoy.

We found a Spruance destroyer escorting a RORO and a Container freighter.

We managed to time the oblique approach and torpedoed both freighters, then when the escort attacked we torpedoed it as well.

And the war continues in the next episode.
