We have... escort duty. Need to get these freighters to the starbase, but it seems the pirates have some other ideas... Engaged and destroyed both.

Was promoted to rank of Commander, but I am keeping USS Degrasse for now. Spent the extra prestige on another FFD plus, the USS Villeneuve.

Seems pirates are quite angry with me, they are actually seeking us out as we patrol a nebula nearby. We destroyed them, of course.

Another mission, and we have another two pirate frigates wanting to attack us in an asteroid field. Somehow, the other frigate got itself killed, leaving me to kill two frigates, which I did manage to do.

Was invited to join Starfleet Special Task Force.

And their first mission: Errand of Curiosity.

It seems the Organians have gone silent. We have been ordered to check all three listening posts in the system, then if needed, scan the planet itself.

We headed for the first listening post... and we detected a Klingon frigate in the far distance. I ordered a yellow alert.

We came upon the first listening post, we slowed to speed 5, and started scanning the LP... only to have it shoot at us?! Since when are LPs armed? And why are there armed LPs in Organian space? Went to red alert and left the LP behind. Checked the other two LPs, the same thing... they are somehow armed, and no message.

Tried Hailing the Klingon frigate, and they just mocked us.

Went to scan the planet. There was no one there. NOTHING.

Then the Klingons hailed us... Challenged us to a battle, which would have the Organians intervene, if they were still there.

I went easy on him. I fired ONE missile at him, did NOT shoot phasers.

He fired a full alpha strike at me. So I replied in kind. After two more rounds of this, he blew up. We left.

Starfleet HQ did not like the news at all. But at least the investigation is done.

Then it's time to check what missions are out there...
