CDP: Nekroz Springans Ryzeal Nemeses, One-Card Combos Everywhere!
Why wouldn't you expect an absurd combo deck?
-------------------------
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and today I am expanding upon a combo framework that Dan threw out in our Discord server into an insane deck. So the core combo begins with two Level 4 monsters, any way you can get them - to accomplish that here, I'm running both a Nekroz engine in Avance, Swordsman of the Nekroz and Emilia, Dance Priestess of the Nerkzoz plus a Ice Ryzeal and Sword Ryzeal standard combo. Either option kicks things off strong into a full combo of epic proportions, as the first stop goes through the Springans. Once making Springans Merrymaker as your first R4NK summon, you can rank up into Gigantic "Champion" Sargas and access the best card of the archetype - Tally-ho! Springans. This Spell tutors Springans monster, aka Springans Kitt, then it can Special Summon 3 monsters if you detached all 3 material from Sargas. From that point, the standard combo goes through the Nemeses engine to make Thunder Dragon Colossus, then your options only open up from there.
So let's talk about what pieces can add to Colossus on your endboard with this deck. First up, there's Ryzeal Duo Drive, a R4NK Thunder that gives you both free destruction in Ryzeal Plasma Hole, as well as a free monster negate in Ryzeal Cross. If you still have Sargas on your board, that Cross negate will also turn into a pop or spin as well! Of course, you can easily turn to Springans Captain Sargas to trigger him instead, while he pops an face-up card on the field. If you want to invoke Synchros, Adamancipator Risen - Dragite proves itself to be an effective S/T negate, Synchro Summoned using Magistus Chorozo as the Tuner. Then as a mindgame, I love to add Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer to the endboard as well. While I chose to cut Full-Armored Xyz from my build, it still portrays itself as an active threat your opponent has to play around, even if you can't really equip to it during the opponent's turn.
Unlike many one-card combo hodgepodges like this, this deck is strangely resilient to bricking, simply because many of the standard combos can be adjusted on the fly to account for rough draws. Or, during the main combo, Springans Kitt will return something from your hand back to the deck, if you want it there to tutor later. Since it is so streamlined, this allows the deck to run Pot of Avarice in triplicate with minimal negative side effects - it turns into a free Pot of Greed once you load your GY with 5 Extra Deck monsters after all! Hope you enjoy this crazy hybrid deck, and catch you next time as I start to celebrate the new TCG WP's in the 2025 Tins with a series of videos featuring them!
