The original Plants vs. Zombies took over the world, so the sequel goes after the past. Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time is certainly about time, taking players on a journey through history to garden. Oh, and to kill zombies. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is based on the same catastrophically addictive gameplay as the original. Players must collect sunlight and use it to plant plants, which defend against oncoming zombie hordes. Each plant's abilities are tied to the plant's attributes. The pea plant shoots peas, for example, and the snapdragon breathes fire. There are plenty of new plants in Plants vs. Zombies 2, and many of the classics have also returned. There are three worlds, each with its own historical theme, and each of the levels in those worlds presents players with different stipulations. This forces you to change your play style and adopt new strategies to earn all the stars. Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time is a freemium game, which means it's a free download with extensive in-app purchases.
