Stunt Race FX review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Stunt Race FX for the Super Nintendo developed by Nintendo and Argonaut Games and published by Nintendo.

Some cars have engines, others have Super FX microchips. Released in 1994, Stunt Race FX was one of five original Super FX games to make it to retail. It was also the second Super FX game from Nintendo, the only other being the legendary Star Fox. Stunt Race FX is a racing game with a vibe not unlike Pixar's Cars. The vehicles have eyes, their wheels are like feet and they almost have human personalities. The game utilizes the Super FX chip for 3D graphics similar to the Star Fox aesthetic—blocky polygons, cool effects, a look into the future! The game features four vehicles to choose from, as well as a few different game modes and several unique tracks. Race, collect stars or play multiplayer in this historically significant racing game from Nintendo. And look for Mario, Fox McCloud and Kirby on the billboards! Self-promotion never hurt anyone.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Stunt Race FX for the Super Nintendo and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
