Change history in Books of time, my favorite board game from @boarddice5001 Unboxing & Review
3Books of time is a set collection engine building game from @boarddice5001 with a really cool and new idea on how to do it.
The game comes with ring binders and pre punched cardboard pages ready to slot inside and easily flip just like a book. It looks gorgeous and the theme is one I love and would like to see more often. In #booksoftime you get a chance to participate in writing history.
Each player has 3 books in which they can collect all the notable achievements made in trade, science, and industry.
This is a medium-weight euro game, lighter than the ones we are used to seeing from #boardanddice and I think this will make Books of time hit the table more often.
Each book works differently and trying to get some pages in order while setting things up for the right combo is quite satisfying.
What I wished happened more often during the game is reaching a book's end and starting over but since you get to add pages constantly it gets harder and harder to finish a book. You can close a book before reaching its end but I feel like the reward doesn't make it as satisfying as going page by page.
Other than that I absolutely loved Books of time and it's probably one of my favorite games from @boarddice5001 ๐
