Chivalry 2: The Tenosian Invastion - Gameplay
2hivalry 2 is nothing short of fantastic.
It's brutal, punishing and gruesome but it's also wonderfully entertaining, EVEN when you're constantly losing.
Watching an opponent get his head chopped off by a well-aimed attack is a piece of cake, and often quite unexpected when you're even fighting an enemy, when your opponent is exceptional at the kill you gave him or thought it was cool that player can praise 'you', the enemy, with a point boost, great isn't it? Recognition among the enemies!
There's something exciting about learning the moves and performing perfect parries and attacks, or just getting the upper hand on multiple enemies at once, like watching a good battle movie.
Even surviving a scuffle gives a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
The battles are very bloody and you have to prepare for flying limbs and heads.
It's a little strange to put it that way, or maybe not, but Chivalry 2 is a combination of serious fighting and comedy,
and that is also reflected in the many emotions and one-liners that you can use.
There's nothing more fun than running onto the field with a battle cry only to end up dead on the ground again and laughing when you spawn again. Some options are useful if you want to communicate with your teammates, but I think not everyone is paying attention to this.
There is also a chat function in place for those who feel driven to agree a strategy with teammates.
Now with the new Tenosia update you can storm the enemies from a riding horse that is well protected with armor and you also have a good old along with which you can spear and clear the enemy.
Of course you can also use your regular weapons and you will use this once you have lost the lance.
You will also have to watch out during the battles to be able to join the group of players who can storm the enemy together on horseback, and you must also quickly indicate that you want to do this,
if you don't manage to get to it, you will be able to use horses whose riders have fallen or died, and so you can spontaneously enjoy the new promotion that the Tenosia update offers us.
In Chivalry 2, epic scenes of chaos and horror follow each other in rapid succession.
Combined with the powerful melee combat and the extremely addictive gameplay, this makes for an unforgettable multiplayer experience.
