Oh boy... the GolemBoss is actually the weakest boss in all of weakdom. He does... nothing, except for counting down and then stopping because he's afraid of heights and unable to do a thing. He would retreat after a while but I killed him before he could do that to gain some extra experience and stuff. Dalton apparently is finished with remodeling the Epoch and attacks us but we seize his ship and counterattack. He's even weaker than before although this time he counters magic attacks with magic of his own which is of the opposing element that he got attacked with but his tiny amount of health makes him fall in 2-3 attacks. Dalton is gone forever and we get our ship back, "accidentally" destroying the Blackbird in the process. Now, Epoch can not only travel between time periods but also fly around on the world map so basically we now got the best mobility tool that there is. People inform us about a person who wanted to talk to us at the North Cape so we go there to find Magus. He talks about himself and his past; seeing the scene should make everything clear but just for the slow guys I'll explain: Magus is Janus and he was born in 12.000 B.C. When Lavos awakened in that time, he and the three Gurus were each sucked into different time portals where they had to live from then on (Magus: 600 A.D., Belthasar: 2300 A.D., Melchior: 1000 A.D., Gaspar: End of Time). We basically just got the history of all those side characters explained which is why this is a very important scene for the game (although bright players could have at least guessed what happened to them from talking to different people and tying the strings together). Short break in that dialogue, but it will go on.
