We start the sequence of sidequests with the Ozzie quest in 600 A.D.. After Magus disappeared, Ozzie seems to have taken his spot as the self-proclaimed master of that timeline and it looks like he must be stopped. When we enter his fort, he is quite surprised to see Magus and calls him a traitor and other such stuff. Anyway, Ozzie is not alone, he's got the ever-pesky Flea and Slash by his side. On their own, they're no challenge at all so I will not comment on the first Flea and Slash fights. What I do have to say though is that there is not a single room in this small dungeon that is not special. Apart from the entrance hall, we've got four boss rooms and one hilarious scene in between the first two of them. After the second boss room, you could go after the chest but then the blade will reduce all characters' HP to 1. Instead we let an Imp trigger the trap and then we take the item. Also, that room is home to Magus' strongest equipment, hidden behind a wall. In the third boss room, we fight Ozzie, Slash and Flea united, and together, they're actually very challenging. Depending on whom you attack, they counter with dual or triple techs. There are some stipulations to this fight though. First of all, Ozzie does never attack at all, he just stands around and performs a triple tech when he's attacked but apart from that, he really does nothing. Defeating him at any point ends the fight. Super Slash attacks every once in a while and also performs a triple tech when attacked. Flea Plus has got a weak attack and does a dual tech when attacked. Once Super Slash is defeated, Flea Plus will run off. To top all this off, Ayla can charm equipment from all three enemies: Ozzie Pants, Slasher 2 and Flea Vest, respectively. We defeat the trio but it looks like Ozzie isn't quite finished yet.
