Chuck Rock (Amiga) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
Unga Bunga! Chuck Rock was designed by Core and produced for all the major computers and consoles, so lets see how the Amiga version fairs.
Production Notes:

I had a practice go at this game and found I was not that good at it. I didnt play this much back in the day, and my furthest attempt was somewhere into world 2, and this required patience to master the levels. I played (rushed) through as much as I could on the first part of this guide, and then played the game again and made a second rip to show the cheat modes (not something I ever do, as I normally hate cheats, but its better then always using the longplay vids).
I balanced the music ok, but the narration was pretty loud in the mix. Meaning listeners will have to play this at normal volume with me sounding a bit loud, or at reduced volume with a quieter game. I didnt have time to sort this out, and sometimes its best to be clearer in the mix than lost inside the music. I found the photo of the Chuck Rock team inside Ace issue 44, page 73. But the Amiga Magazine Rack was down the day I made the review. Later I got to read the article, and it says Bob Churchill was the games designer, not the coder as I wrote in this review. In the article it also talks about the games constant 32 colour 50 FPS scrolling, which was quite an achievement, and the 200+ creatures. If the difficulty was a bit easier, this could have been a true classic.
Update: I had this uploaded already, but then remembered I forgot to change the credits at the end to daXX for the great music. So I took it down and uploaded at again for this important correction.
