The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.

Choplifter II is everything you should expect from a (non-RPG) Game Boy game. It's pick up and play, it's arcadey, light, and fun, it's simple, and it controls pretty well. It's a bit of a difficult game, with me barely clearly Level 1, but beyond that, I have absolutely no complaints here for this port of an arcade classic. NEXT!

Ultima Runes of Virtue II is a surprisingly fun game. It's rare that we pop a game in during Game Boy Theater and I want to keep playing it. To see that we recorded 20 minutes of gameplay for this game is a testament to that. Although Runes of Virtue shares similar gameplay to RoV II, you can tell that a lot of graphical and gameplay improvements were made to the sequel.

This is a bit of an expensive cart, so we highly suggest playing this one 'any way you can'. Thanks for watching!
