Black and Bruised was released in 2003 for the GameCube - it was developed by Digital Fiction (Boxing Fever, Yu Yu Hakusho Ghost Files, Rocky Balboa - that's it, ever) and published by Majesco Entertainment (so, so many Nintendo DS games).

Uh, this game... rules? I think we are both pretty floored with how fun this game is - and the story mode is completely surprising. I think we both have only ever played Punch-Out!! as far as boxing games are concerned, but this is a really unique fighting system - although it does take a little bit to get used to.

Since everything for the GameCube is so ridiculously expensive nowadays, we can highly recommend this as a fun, 'budget' title. Thanks for watching!
