Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes was released for the PS1 in October 2000, making it a relatively late PS1 game. It is the direct sequel to Duke Nukem: Time to Kill.

It was developed by n-Space (Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, Rugrats Studio Tour!!!, and a bunch of first person shooters for DS), and published by our old friends Infogrames, which was bought out by Atari at some point.

What I expected: a FPS where Duke saved a bunch of 'babes'. What I got: a 3rd person Tomb Raider clone where a bunch of 'babes' are killed in the first 5 minutes. What the heck? Really wasn't expecting this type of gameplay from a Duke game, and, for a relatively late PS1 game, this one most likely wasn't that good even back in 2000. Yes, we are plebs for not figuring out what to do, but why make a game where plebs can get frustrated in the first 5 minutes? And I expected so much from the company that developed Rugrats: Search for Reptar...
