Epidemic was released in October 1996 for the Playstation 1. It was developed by Genki (Jade Cocoon, MRC for N64, and the Kengo series), and published by Sony themselves.

This is the perfect 'Let's Try' game. It's a game that would have blown our socks off in 1996, but falls very flat nowadays. The graphics are phenomenal for the time, and the presentation and cover art are awesome as well. Unfortunately for us, it's a mech game. We're not huge on mech games, personally, so we're not the ones to ask if the gameplay is better than other PS1 mech games. It seems that it is probably a pretty average mech game for the time, but we'll leave that up to the MechHeads (tm). Thanks for watching!
