Extreme Pinball was released on the Playstation 1 on March 28, 1996. It was first released on DOS for computers in 1995 (remember DOS??). It was developed by Digital Extremes (who also made a few Unreal Championship games, as well as Dark Sector, and the Bioshock PS3 port), and published by everybody's friends at Electronic Arts. Apparently, Epic Games, ye of Fortnite fame, also had a part in this game.

That's all I have that's even remotely positive to say about this game. When I play a pinball video game, I expect two things -- the game to run at 60 FPS, and for the physics to be relatively reliable. That's really -all- you need from a pinball game, and Extreme Pinball fails on both fronts. The boards are boring, the loading times are ABSURD, and it's just not a fun game.

I give it a little bit of credit for being such an early PS1 release, but beyond that, this is definitely the worst pinball game that we've played so far on the PS1 --- and that's saying something. Thanks for watching!
