Eternal Ring was released on October 26, 2000 as a PS2 exclusive. We were wrong --- this WAS a launch title for the PS2, as it also released in American on October 26, 2000. It was developed by From Software, and published by the absolute CHADS at AgeTec.

I've always seen this game in the store, and never knew much about it, so I had to give it a try. The game itself is nothing special at all in 2022, but I give it major props for being a PS2 launch title -- the graphics look rather nice, the game runs pretty well, and there is a -lot- of voice acting from what we've seen so far.

As always with these Let's Try videos, we don't have too long to explore the game - we just want to get our initial thoughts on it. If you want to see what From Software was making before Dark Souls, you could do a lot worse than Eternal Ring -- it's a pretty confident game, and very impressive for being a PS2 launch title.
