I had the hankering to actually beat an NES game the other day, so of course I picked Puss 'n Boots, which has to be top 10 easiest NES games to beat (of those that have actual endings, of course).

The video is only 12:30 long, and the world record is usually around 7 minutes or so -- and that includes a few levels that are auto-scrollers. I would go as far to say that this isn't a 'great adventure' lol
