Ten Pin Alley was released on November 26, 1996 for the PS1, Sega Saturn, and PC. It was developed by Adrenalin Entertainment, a short-lived company from 1993 to 1998. We have seen them previously on Let's Try videos, as they also developed Doom Troopers, which is an extremely flawed Contra clone for SNES/Genesis. It was published by ASC Games, which I just learned is different than ASCII Corporation. The more you know!

Listen, if you want a PS1 bowling game, just pick up 'Bowling'. It's an extremely simplistic game, but it's awesome in its simplicity. Ten Pin Alley tries to do something different with the way too complicated release mechanism, but it just ends up being lame. Ten Pin Alley did release 2+ years before 'Bowling', so you can at least give Ten Pin Alley that.

Usually a game like this would warrant a 10 minute video, but we almost hit the 22 minute mark, as we couldn't figure out how to bowl for the first half of the video. It's always great when you need the manual for a game that should be so simple. Oh well, enjoy our frustrations, and thank you for watching!
