CiB Let's Try - Yanya Caballista: City Skater
Yanya Caballista was released on October 1, 2001 as a PS2 exclusive. It was developed by Cave (who made a lot of Japanese-only games, but also DeathSmiles for Xbox 360 -- hence the term 'Cave shooter'), and published by Koei, who's been around a very long time.
After playing Primal (PS2), Yanya Caballista was an absolute welcome change -- from dreary and ugly to bright and fun. Yanya originally came with a little skateboard gadget that you put on the analog sticks of the PS2 controller, but I don't that -- it's still easy enough to play with just the analog sticks, after you get the hang of the controls.
What else is there to say? It's like a more silly/airy Tony Hawk game, has lots of bright colors and humor, and is relatively cheap by PS2 standards -- I can highly recommend this one -- thanks for watching!
