There are a variety of bugs, including suspiciously functioning service zones, UI issues, model bugs, terrain bugs, and economic/industrial bugs—it's just a total mess.

Among these, the pathfinding algorithm is in such a severe state that it requires a complete overhaul.

Additionally, the game should provide a setting to limit the number of Sims in the city to reduce the load on the system.

The game slows down significantly as the road network expands and becomes more complex. Even with the same population, there is a huge difference in speed between a city with a small, simple road network and one with a large, complex one.

Even if the pathfinding algorithm is improved, I don't think this will solve the issue. An option to limit the number of Sims (and vehicles) appearing in the city should be provided, so the freed resources can be used to expand the size of the city.

Time to shelve the game again until the next patch...
