I created a city with a population of 500,000 using only medium- to high-density buildings. The population grew so rapidly that, in terms of the area occupied, it feels more like a town than a city.

I believe this city exemplifies the comprehensive issues currently present in Cities: Skylines 2.

Even without considering bugs, it shows faster simulation speeds compared to cities I built previously, simply because the city is small and the road network is smaller.

This demonstrates the fundamental problems with the broken traffic algorithm in Cities 2.

An even bigger issue is the size of the city itself. For a realistic city, this proportion might be accurate.

However, the genre of a 'city-building game' isn’t about perfectly simulating reality. Why play a game if it’s just a simulation of reality? It would be better to use a tool instead.

The 'city-building game' genre should be designed to fit the purpose of 'city-building.'

It’s not about just building and enjoying a village-level town.

Providing a large map to those who enjoy placing roads across the entire map and building cities with extreme models while torturing their computers, only to prevent them from filling that map, raises ethical concerns that need deep reflection.
