Here. We. Go. Episode 99. One more to go. To prepare for it properly we need to fix the traffic hotspots, since episode 100 is when I'll turn off vehicle despawning, like the madman I am!

We start at Summit Park, our first industrial zone. The first grid piece near the entrance to the zone is getting a lot of traffic. It's not necessarily an issue since it's not getting clogged, but bringing the red down to yellow would certainly help with the inevitable flood of non-despawning cars in the next episode.

Perhaps a one-way loop would do the trick? A built-in roundabout of sorts? It actually made the traffic worse. Aren't roundabouts supposed to solve the traffic issues, not make them worse? Still, perhaps a part-roundabout will do the job? That, and turning the 3-lane into a 4-lane did help in the end. Hurray!

The nearby roundabout looks weird... Just as if... Yep, I updated the Node Controller mod and now it's disabled. Fortunately, after a quick cut and a restart, the new version of the mod does load the previous settings. Whew. That means we can use it to touch up some intersections.

Now it's time for the biggest challenge: the Oak Park Roundabout. The smaller one that leads to cargo terminal, that is. Limiting the amount of roads that connect to it seems like a good idea, initially, but quickly turns into a nightmare as cars are taking long trips to get there, creating traffic elsewhere.

The solution? A bigger roundabout, of course. One with an overpass, too, as to not force everyone to enter it. And an overpass of the exit to get into the parking lot. Hopefully all that fiddling will pay off eventually.

Lastly, we also do some lane management on the main artery and... that's all the time we had for this episode! Whatever happens in episode 100, happens. No turning back now.

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience. You’re only limited by your imagination, so take control and reach for the sky!

*Multi-tiered and challenging simulation*
Constructing your city from the ground up is easy to learn, but hard to master. Playing as the mayor of your city you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, fire fighting, healthcare and much more along with your city's real economy system. Citizens within your city react fluidly, with gravitas and with an air of authenticity to a multitude of game play scenarios.

*Extensive local traffic simulation*
Colossal Order's extensive experience developing the Cities in Motion series is fully utilized in a fully fleshed out and well-crafted local traffic simulation.

*Districts and Policies*
Be more than just an administrator from city hall. Designating parts of your city as a district results in the application of policies which results in you rising to the status of Mayor for your own city.

*Utilize the Day and Night Cycle*
The city changes during the hours of the day and affects citizen schedules. Traffic is visibly slower at night and some zoned areas do not work with full efficiency. Cities: Skylines will put you in control of managing the different aspects of the day and night cycles.

*Extensive modding support*
Build or improve on existing maps and structures. You can then import your creations into the game, share them as well as download the creations of other city builders on the Steam workshop.
