Butler District needs more workers. Our new residential area was supposed to help with that, but it's fairly disconnected from the rest of the city. Right now, the best way of connecting it seems to be a tram line going directly to the industrial zone.

To create it, we use some modded roads that allow us to create a sunken tram track right in the middle. This way, we can avoid having to awkwardly weave it through the highway junction. It's not a smooth ride, but it certainly is a learning experience in how to use this mod.

After the tram line is finally placed properly, we add some services to the new, yet unnamed, residential zone. We don't want it to burn down after all, and we want to keep all of our citizens well-educated.

Just as we place the endpoint in Butler District where people will disembark from the trams, we get access to the metro. Great. Sunken cost fallacy is strong, though, so we stick to the tram after all. We try to swap the modded tram road for another one, one with trees and bikes, but it seems there's no nice transition to be had between the two. Oh well. Transition on the road bend it is.

Another thing we need to do, is fully set up the new highway junction. Some TM:PE, some Node Controller, and of course some decorating with the Intersection Marking Tool. It's not perfect, but I daresay it's as good as it can be.

The new residential zone is of course too big for our current demand, and only keeps growing, so now we have an increased demand for industrial zoning. Instead of that, however, we create offices. A full-on IT cluster.

Lastly, we zone it up as Moore Heights, and zone up the new residential zone as Valley Hills. A curious name, to be sure. Then we provide a pedestrian overpass and that's the episode!

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience. You’re only limited by your imagination, so take control and reach for the sky!

*Multi-tiered and challenging simulation*
Constructing your city from the ground up is easy to learn, but hard to master. Playing as the mayor of your city you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, fire fighting, healthcare and much more along with your city's real economy system. Citizens within your city react fluidly, with gravitas and with an air of authenticity to a multitude of game play scenarios.

*Extensive local traffic simulation*
Colossal Order's extensive experience developing the Cities in Motion series is fully utilized in a fully fleshed out and well-crafted local traffic simulation.

*Districts and Policies*
Be more than just an administrator from city hall. Designating parts of your city as a district results in the application of policies which results in you rising to the status of Mayor for your own city.

*Utilize the Day and Night Cycle*
The city changes during the hours of the day and affects citizen schedules. Traffic is visibly slower at night and some zoned areas do not work with full efficiency. Cities: Skylines will put you in control of managing the different aspects of the day and night cycles.

*Extensive modding support*
Build or improve on existing maps and structures. You can then import your creations into the game, share them as well as download the creations of other city builders on the Steam workshop.
