CIV 7: LEADERS, AGES & CIVS - The Controversial Changes of Civilization 7
1,745Civilization 7 is changing the game, casting many Civilization 6 mechanics aside in favor of 3 distinct ages, with their own civilizations that you can change into. Your leader, newly buffed with attribute trees and legacy points, remains constant through the ages. Cities and districts in civ 7 are a little more nuanced, and perhaps less of a controversial shift than changing civs. Here, civ 7 allows for multiple buildings and improvements within a tile, divides between urban and rural, and fragments the resource system into regional and local resources.
The leaders, ages (antiquity, exploration & modern) and cities are the focus of this video as I explain how they work, some of the inspiration behind the changes, and my playing experience.
