Class of Heroes 3 Remaster Review - It Was Worth the 15 Year Wait
FULL DISCLAIMER: I received a free version of this game on Steam from PQube for review and coverage purposes (Thanks PQube!).
After 15 long years, Class of Heroes 3 finally makes its official English debut — and it was worth the wait. In this review, I cover everything you need to know about the Class of Heroes 3 Remaster releasing on Steam, Switch, and PS5.
This legendary dungeon crawler JRPG has been called a kamige (“divine game”) by Japanese fans, and now western players can finally experience it. With 48 job classes, 12 races, 432+ possible combinations, and three distinct schools to choose from, this game offers one of the deepest party-building systems in the genre.
In this video, I’ll break down:
What makes Class of Heroes 3 stand out from the rest of the series
How the school and course system works
The strengths and weaknesses of the remaster
Who this game is best for (new players vs. series veterans)
Why this is, in my opinion, the best Class of Heroes game yet
Whether you’re a longtime dungeon crawler fan or totally new to the series, this remaster is both approachable and endlessly customizable.
Class of Heroes 3 Remaster releases September 18, 2025 on Steam, Switch, and PS5.
