21Daemon X Machina surprised me as a mecha action console exclusive on the Switch back in 2019. Fast forward to 2025 and Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is doing some new and interesting things with the mecha action genre, further differentiating the game from the Armored Core games it's frequently compared unfavorably against. Open world exploration, even bigger controllable heavy armor, and more RPG elements. The game is also 100% playable coop and includes additional asynchronous multiplayer elements.
In this video I talk about Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, why I'm excited to play it, and some reservations I have about the game.
