Due to the repetitive nature of the storytelling in Trails through Daybreak 2 that ruined a bit of the hype I had for the Calvard arc, my hopes weren't too high when I began playing Trails Beyond the Horizon. But what I got from the experience blew my expectations away. This game delivers a lot of big picture plot, cool new characters, good storytelling, and the Trails' series best battle system in my opinion. In this video I talk abstractly about why I think, even after playing all of the Trails games, Trails Beyond the Horizon is the best Trails game I ever played up to this point.
