25Square Enix announced an actual HD-2D action JRPG with The Adventures of Elliot: The Millenium Tales and a new turn-based JRPG Octopath Traveler 0. Two new HD-2D JRPGs to be releasing in the future. I had the opportunity to play The Adventures of Elliot: The Millenium Tales and talk about why I'm so excited for this game in this video. I also talk about Octopath Traveler 0 and the awesome new things the game is trying with the Octopath Traveler formula, like eight character turn based battles and a shift to two stories instead of eight.
