Classical Conversations: What Do Orchestras Do During the Summer?
For at least nine to ten consecutive months a year, an American orchestra would perform a series of classical music concerts, along with film, family and celebratory concerts that brings in fans of all ages to enjoy. But when the season ends in June, is there anything that an orchestra does during the summer to keep their longtime fans engaged while they plan for the upcoming season? For this video, I will be talking about some of the things that an orchestra does throughout the course of the summer, and why it is important for them to keep engaging with their fans even after the main season ends.
