Random Thoughts: Is Threads for Real?
0Ever since Twitter underwent new leadership in late 2022, several new social media apps have come into the fold to try to take the social media giant down, but have failed to do so. Threads might be the most serious challenger to Twitter as it was founded by Meta leader Mark Zuckerberg, but the question remains: does this new social media app have the staying power to topple Twitter? For this random thought, I will be discussing about the newfound battle between Twitter and Threads, some of the obstacles the new social media app faces, and what I think it can do to make the app a long-term alternative to Twitter.
