NERF darts have been propelled a variety of different ways, and CO₂ isn't anything new although it hasn't seen widespread adoption. Meet REKT, a blaster line produced by Umarex (the same company that did the revolver and shotgun I've shown off) and meant to be a line of blasters that shoot the typical foam dart using your normal 12g CO2 cartridge. Yes, they are frontloaders but for a low $35 price tag and some potential for modification down the line, it honestly seems like REKT might have a future in the hobby.
