So it turns out
1. Dark Shout cools down fast enough to use it on yes every spellcast
2. Lightning Brionac Devour makes the ichor cost a complete non-issue
The only catch is that Dark Shout is consumed on hit, not on cast, even though one cast will fully power up an entire DoT spell.
Dancing Fireblade is the highest total motion value off of one Dark Shout, so one way to optimize it is to set the spinny blades going and then spam your best low cooldown spells while it's going. For this situation I tend to favor
*Dancing Blaze, which has high enough total damage to outright solo Frozen Empress by itself
*Ember Reversal, which has much less contingent positioning than the elemental blade spells, allowing me to focus my positioning on maximizing Dancing Fireblade damage
Otherwise for a more conventional burst spam build it's probably gonna be Hoarfrost Stream + Queen blood code spell set.
