Hey guys, Art Izon here, with another miserable challenge run, this time on the recently-released Code Vein, known to some as "Anime Souls." I'll be fighting all the bosses at level 1, and without a partner -- except this fight, which cannot be done solo. I've beaten four bosses as of typing this and so far it's proven more difficult than anything I've tried in a souls(like) game, which was a pleasant surprise.

There's not much to say about this boss. He hardly feels like a boss, and in fact he shows up as a regular enemy a few areas later. Staying behind him makes him trivial, like many a souls(like) boss. The only notable thing about him is that he can repeat his transformation explosion, which I don't think he could do in the demo. He goes down in a single attempt, and is the only boss in this challenge for which that is likely to happen.

I didn't get to show my stats at the end, but the fact that I'm level 1 can be inferred by my maximum health. I'll make sure to fit it in the later fights.
