In this video guide I will show you how to defeat the Successor of the Ribcage in the Cathedral of the Scared Blood. This boss has two stages to beat so don't think that this one is easy and done once the first health bar is gone. This fight can be pretty easy if you use the Cleansing Light from the Queenslayer blood code. I also used Yakumo for the extra damage. One good thing is if you get to the second part of the fight you don't have to do the first part over again.

This boss has a lot of spell abilities that can cause serious damage. Mostly in the second fight the real damage will start to one shot you. Just try to stand behind the pillars when you can from the blasts. Its not guaranteed to miss with the flame spell since it seems to still somewhat get you. Be careful for the electricity on the ground she casts from time to time. Your best bet is to try and close the gap and get in there and get as many melee hits in as you can. She will teleport back and forth on the map, so be sure to keep your Cleansing Light spell active and get melee hits in when you can. The achievement will pop once the boss is defeated.
