Combat and Mining Tutorials 🚀 EP #2 Elite: Dangerous (No Commentary)
1OMG I was totally not expecting this control scheme! I'm well too used to mouse x-axis controlling yaw from other space games. In Elite it's for ROLL.
I tried rebinding mouse x-axis for yaw and keyboard keys for roll but that only made it worse because the ship yaws soo painfully slow.
I realized I'm actually supposed to roll and pitch to... yaw? To change direction left and right. Like in fighter jets games. Then it all suddenly made sense!
In this episode I try the Combat tutorial and one of the parts of the game I'm most looking forward to: Mining.
My play style will mostly be Trading, Mining and Exploring. Combat very occasionally or when forced into it.
