3Next to Eastern Front this is one of the first real time war game. In its ancient form it resembles to the Close Combat games.
Both the gameplay and the graphics are pretty advanced for 1983, however the lack of statistics and finer controls of the turn based wargames make this feel as a simplified, greatly streamlined experience. The lack of a realistic scenario is another disadvantage for the game.
