Command and Conquer Generals 2 was promised to be a return to classic command and conquer. But Generals 2 was never made. What happened to Command and Conquer Generals 2? Today I explain what happened to Generals 2 and it's development cycle, and I'll explain what EA has done with the whole Command and Conquer series since then.

We were originally introduced to Command and Conquer Generals 2 with a cool trailer and some screenshots. It looked like it was gonna be great. But then, months later, EA announced this game was no longer Command and Conquer Generals 2 but was now just called Command and Conquer (2013), and to top it off, it was a free to play game (probably filled with microtransactions). What happened next was an absolute disaster, as I discuss in this video.
