Command & Conquer: Generals was released in 2003. It's sort of a spin-off from the C&C series, with a setting that's more reminiscent of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare than the sci-fi scenario of the Tiberium and Red Alert titles: a contemporary, real-world setting with modern military weaponry and technology. The game features three distinct factions: the United States, China, and the Global Liberation Army (GLA). I show the cutscenes and story of all factions.
