*Behind The Scenes: *
The funny thing about the gray banner villager is the last one I got took one or two tries. But when he got deleted by the test block fiasco, and I had to get another one, it took all the tries you saw. I've split up trying to trade one across multiple different sessions because it took so long (and generated so much junk items). In total though, it cost me 25 and a half STACKS of emeralds to find a gray banner villager. That's insane. 🙃
For the boat datapack changes, I had made a predicate, a loot table, and had modified a ton of function files (removing all 42 instances of the break_check storage) before I realized it wasn't gonna pan out. I though boats were weird for not working with the loot table, but turns out mannequins don't work with it either, which seems like a more egregious thing to leave out. Either way, it's a disappointment neither works with those loot drops.
After the episode, I was finalizing some things for the datapack and added a few more controls. The recording will now copy gliding, crouching, swimming, sleeping, and of course standing. And I added a way to auto rotate the mannequin in case it's just for display, as well as adding all the chestplate options (which was harder than it sounded since it has to switch back and forth between elytra with no trim component and the chestplate which sometimes has the trim component). In the end it's definitely a fun addition to the game without creating any imbalance with vanilla!


Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
