Coincidentally, this also happened to be the moment when I finally found my way back to the room that required the torch, which in turn got me the compass. Everything is finally starting to fall into place, but there's still plenty of exploring left to do..

Developed and published by Donut Games, Traps n' Gemstones is a side-scrolling action platformer game with a non-linear "Metroidvania" style of progression. As a nameless character with a striking resemblance to Indiana Jones, players must avoid traps and solve puzzles while investigating a vast network of underground chambers. The ultimate goal is to find twenty-five stolen relics and return them to their rightful place deep within the pyramid.
Priceless artifacts are disappearing from an ancient pyramid hidden deep within the Egyptian desert. Claiming to have witnessed a strange man in the area, the Bedouins who have guarded the site for generations call upon a freelance archaeologist with expertise in exploring long-forgotten ruins. As he delves deeper into this mystery, it becomes clear that it's going to take more than a strong whip, quick wits, and a healthy dose of recklessness to set things straight.
