0The developers at Apogee Software are well known for the jump in difficulty that comes directly after the parts of their games released as Shareware. This was something I expected when I sat down to record videos of episode two, which I had never played before. That's the excuse I'm using for why I overcomplicated the first level, as well as the number of times I fell into pools of acid later on.

Originally released under the "Shareware" distribution model, Secret Agent is a side-scrolling action platformer game developed and published by Apogee Software. Gameplay consists of avoiding or defeating a wide variety of enemies while solving simple puzzles, such as deactivating laser fields or unlocking colored doors with their corresponding keys. Each episode requires players to complete all fifteen levels before the path to the final stage is unlocked.
Good evening, Agent 006½. The international terrorist organization known as the Diabolical Villain Society has stolen three sets of blueprints for the ruby-powered Red Rock Rover defense satellite. Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to infiltrate their island strongholds, disable the radar defense grid on each island, and recover those blueprints. Should you be captured, the Bureau will disavow any knowledge of your existence. This message will self-destruct in 3.. 2.. 1..
