Corpse Party - SSHBB (Pt 2): Neo's Forced to Watch His Precious Cinnamon Roll Taken From Him - Again
[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Continuing directly from where the prologue left off, Neosekken is introduced to two new characters: Azusa Takai, and Ran Kobayashi, two students from "St. Cruz Girls' High School", who have found themselves at Heavenly Host Elementary for reasons that only become apparent to Neosekken later on in the episode. During their introductory scene, Neo learns two things about them besides which school they're from: 1) They are apparently a couple, as Ran repeatedly points out, and 2) Azumi might have some kind of special power, although its exact nature is something Neo can't quite put his finger on, at least not at present. The two continue roaming the halls, and as this is happening Class 2-9 of Kisaragi Academy conspires among themselves to go along with Sachiko's wish to celebrate her 7th Birthday however she wishes since it is the best bet they have at the moment for returning home, but Yoshiki Kishinuma, a member of this group, is highly skeptical of the idea, pointing out that its Sachiko Shinozaki they're dealing with - someone who's proven herself to be not only highly deceptive, but dangerous. Unfortunately for Yoshiki he gets vetoed by the rest of the group, and Neo can only watch in pity as his objections aren't given as much consideration as they realistically should be. But since this is a romantic comedy with horror elements that Neo and everybody else is in right now, Neo doesn't find himself feeling TOO bad for the poor guy.
From there on more of the cast is formally introduced, along with even more new faces: one is Satsuki Mizuhara, a student of Kisaragi Academy Junior High and a classmate of Yuka Mochida, Aiko Niwa, a student from Paulownia Academy with a knack for money and paranormal items. What particular catches Neo's interest is that, according to Naho Saenoki, a key character from past games, Aiko seems to possess some spiritual powers of her own. Finally, there's Haruyuki Inumaru, who's also a student from Paulownia Academy - one who seems to harbor some VERY intense romantic feelings for Sayaka Ooue, a student from the same school as Naho. So much so to where he takes every instance of rejection Sayaka gives him as some kind of declaration of love or another. Neo can't help but pity this man already.
But as everyone continues to be formally introduced, Yoshiki, refusing to go along with Sachiko's games, demands that Sachiko allow everyone to go home and stop using them as her toys. Sachiko eventually responds to this by offering everyone a chance to earn not only THEIR freedom, but also the freedom of one other person they can choose to take with them. However, to earn this chance, they have to run a race filled with many dangerous obstacles and make it to the end, alive. After every student in the room considers this option, several of them decide to try to give the race a go to try and save themselves and as many of their fellow classmates as they can. Among Class 2-9 of Kisaragi Academy in particular, Yoshiki, Sakutarou Morishige, and Seiko Shinohara decide to give the race a try. Unfortunately for Neo, it doesn't take long for one of his favorite characters, who's among this trio that's participating in this race, to kick the bucket - again.
