With Tom's rescue ending in failure, the only thing Neosekken can do is get Regina to the B1 lab and try to pursue Dr. Kirk. Creating a forged ID of a dead scientist who works in the B1 lab and using it at an elevator that takes him to the entrance of the B1 lab, Neo eventually gains access to the B1 lab. After arriving inside, Neo begins searching every room within the lab, killing and evading any dinosaurs he meets along the way. He finds several journal entries from some of the scientists who, suspicious of Kirk's activities around the facility, apparently began investigating the doctor. In fact, Neo is certain he met one of them already back in the 2F floor of the building in the first episode, and here in the B1 lab he finds another scientist who is likely a part of the same group of scientists investigating Kirk, trapped inside a gas chamber. How the scientist got there, Neo never learns, but Neo suspects that somebody likely put him there against his will. Whatever the reason for his being there, Regina doesn't seem to care all that much, as she instead tries to ask him about Kirk's whereabouts, only for the scientist to give her a key item that will point her in the direction of Kirk's personal lab.

Using the key given to Regina by the scientist, Neo finds the other key item he needs to access Kirk's hidden lab, and after calling Gail to help Regina open the path to Kirk's lab Neo goes inside and investigates... only to discover Kirk is nowhere to be seen. Nobody is given much time to wonder about Kirk's whereabouts for long, as shortly after exiting Kirk's personal lab a security system is triggered and locks Regina and Gail inside the computer room leading to Kirk's lab - likely a deliberate action performed by Kirk himself. Neo manages to use a nearby panel to bypass this system and give himself an opening long enough to try and escape, before the entire lab section is sealed off, which gives Neo two options from Rick and Gail on how to proceed out of the lab.

After picking Rick's option, Neo works with him to create a path leading him out of the lab via an escape hatch in Kirk's personal lab, and after successfully opening it Neo escapes the lab - and finds himself finally coming face-to-face with the doctor himself...
