Welcome! To Let's play Osiris: New Dawn - gameplay – part 2. After a brief introduction in to the world of Osiris: New Dawn! Its time to set our foot in this new forgotten land! First of all we will continue the search of Titanium! A needed metal for the Forge. The Forge is the first working station in Osiris: New Dawn, to make it we will need to gather the basic materials and fuel! As the iron aluminium copper or plutonium are quite easy to find in our starting location of Osiris: New Dawn. Titanium is a more serious problem! We will need to explore even futher away from our starting location to find it! Problem is every player in Osiris: New Dawn can start in a different location than the other! So the map will come in very handy! As the coordinates of each of the resources should be more or less the same! Also the resources respawn every once and a while! With titanium we can finally build a forge at our camp. The Forge is the next step in our development and the basic working station in Osiris: New Dawn. With it we can make tools, ammunition but also mix other resources in to more advance parts like steel! Or make glass for that however we will need tools from the forge aswell! With the amount of materials we need its time also to worry about some basic storage, A storage crate near our camp and forge should be enough for now! Time for more exploring in Osiris: New Dawn. Far away from our camp we can find gold, lead but also more space monsters of this unknown planet! Proteus 2 the first planet in the campaign of Osiris: New Dawn is a mix of Startroopers with maybe starcraft. The monsters however so far resemble a lot the bugs and worms from Startroopers which is good but right now we don’t have too many means of defending ourselves or the base itself near the spawning point! One of the new monsters we encounter in todays episode is a colossus. This monster is way bigger then anything we have encounter so far, even the basic plants are a potential danger for the astronaut in Osiris: New Dawn. Always keep the duck tape with You for any suit breach along with ammunition for the rifle! If You can try for the start of Osiris: New Dawn save as much ammunition as You can for bigger more dangerous monsters that may come sooner or later. There is no point in wasting better ammunition if there is no need to it. Distance is your biggest ally at the start of Osiris: New Dawn, shoot from afar and as the monsters come close and closer change to the rifle. Counting each shot as a hit. The Robot You start your adventure in Osiris: New Dawn
May come in very handy! He is not only very strong in combat but if You have the multi tool with You he will also be able to follow You around, help with combat the monsters on this unknown world and act as a carrying helper. Every material You gather have its own weight. The more You carry the over the maximum of Your cap the slower You become, If You are transporting materials from one crate to another its not a big deal, but in the opening away from Your base getting attacked by a fast charging monster and don’t having the possibility to run or just the jetpack may sometimes be the Be or not to Be in Osiris: New Dawn.
