Welcome! To Let's play Osiris: New Dawn - gameplay – part 3. Time to move out of our little save heaven and move in to the wild of Osaris! We need to look for materials if we wish to futher develop and build our base on this unknown planet! Iron, aluminium, titanium, plutonium and copper are quite common! But to make the Habitat and other buildings we need to make steel and for that in Osaris we will ned a material called Magnesium! In large numbers that is as the Habitat alone will need a lot of parts. A different from other survival games in Osiris: New Dawn is that the buildings materials at the beginning of constructions cover only the base of the building! That means we will have to build the walls and furniture separately! In other words if the material is not trying to eat You alive or its not running away then gather as much as You can carry! In Osiris: New Dawn we start our adventure with a little robot its time to get him to work, As he is not only a great support in fights but also have the possibility to carry other items for us but we can also send im on gathering operations! Yes the personal assistant in Osiris: New Dawn can be send in to nearby resources and mine them by himself, he will get later return to items fo a free storage area outside of our base, he can’t enter the Habitat tho! This can speed up building base in Osiris: New Dawn as we won’t have to worry about the basic materials ourselves. I do belive at some point in Osiris: New Dawn You can make even more robots to gather materials so we can automate a loot of production in Osiris: New Dawn. I have notices that Magnesium spawns around 1000 meters away from our original starting point in Osiris: New Dawn. THo the coordinate for Magnesium should always be the same for every game. THo You may watch Your back, the Magnesium I have found in Osiris: New Dawn is guarded by a gigantic worm, a similar encounter to the Reaper in Subanutica. Avoid at all cost as he will just eat You, the dying is maybe not the worse part of Osiris: New Dawn but loosing all of Your starting gear is, the rifle, potatoes, water, bandages all of the items we started in the first episode of Osiris: New Dawn have been lost. We have to restart from scratch, so the Forge will help us as You can make a pistol in it. For now the Pistol have to last for us until we will be able to make a new rifle but for that we will need the fabricator inside the habitat that yet we need to construct. In the end the Chisel also can be used as a weapon. The melee combat in Osiris: New Dawn may not be the best idea for us to do but in the end if there will be needed its better to use the Chisel then Your bere firsts! Tho the robot will help us as much as he can but remember the starting robot we have in Osiris: New Dawn is not a tanking unit. He will get destroyed if he gets hit to often! The Glass is the most easiest material to make in Osiris: New Dawn as You only need sand and for the sand You need a shovel that You can make at the forge, In the end we spend a lot of time running back and forward in Osiris: New Dawn just to gather the resources in the end I need to find a way to carry bigger amounts of them.
