One of the biggest and most recognizable maps in all of Zombie Escape. Mako Reactor is the king of maps in terms of overall houres played, the amount of tactics and maturation and just appreciation for how it plays out. I myself have beaten the map countless times by now, and I rarely get tired of it.

Despite it's overall greatness, ultimately, Mako Reactor is a victim of its own succes, and it can easily be said that this map has had its time, as at this point it gets mostly RTV'ed at times when most veteran players are around. Tactics are also so widely known that the challenge of the map has kind of faded away, where only solowins are regarded as something that's merely more interesting than any other kind of win.

That doesn't keep the map from being played every single day anyways, which adds only to its legacy. This map is not just a recommendation, it's a must.

GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape

Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS, CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.

If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you'll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
