As soon as I played Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, I was thrown straight into nostalgia — Crash wakes up on N. Sanity Beach, the classic setting with a completely revamped look. But don't think it's just nostalgia... right from the first few minutes, the game shows that it's got it all: super responsive controls, well-placed challenges and a pace that won't let you stop.
I started exploring the island, collecting Wumpa fruits, destroying boxes and facing the first enemies — turtles, crabs and, of course, some hidden traps that almost made me fall (but I barely escaped!). The soundtrack gets you in the mood, and the introduction to the mask mechanics, like Aku Aku, already gives you a taste of what's to come.
Now, do you want to know the moment when I almost lost everything? It was when I had to cross a bridge made only of suspended boxes. Seriously, it was pure tension! I won't give any spoilers about how I finished this part, but I assure you: it's worth watching.
If you're a fan of platform games, or just want to relive Crash's golden age with a modern twist, don't miss my video. I showed you all the details from the beginning of the adventure and shared my reactions playing it for the first time. Click play and come with me on this interdimensional journey with lots of spinning, jumping and, of course... some falls too! 😅
