Woot! It's the world-famous marsupial on a mission, in his first-ever outing! Developed by Naughty Dog back in 1996, the game was one of the Playstation's first successful "3D" platforming franchises (though the oft-forgotten "Jumping Flash!" in 1995 really rose the bar for its time) with great graphics, strict platforming segments, and many challenging levels. As one of Doctor Cortex's "failed" experiments in his bid to make an army of super animal soldiers, Crash was chased out of the doc's castle, but not before realizing that his love interest, Tawna the hot female bandicoot, would be his next victim. Determined to get her back and show Cortex that he chose the wrong animal to have as an enemy for life, Crash traverses over 30 dangerous levels to stop the doc and get his girl.
Many have played Crash Bandicoot before, so there isn't much to say. Crash can spin, grab masks to sustain hits and become invincible, and jump, primarily-speaking. Utilizing various level elements and your wits, the game becomes progressively more challenging as you earn tons of extra lives and go to the occassional bonus level to see Tawna. The game has memory card saves as well as the nice option to use passwords if you didn't have or couldn't afford a memory card. Truth be told, I uploaded this mainly because I'm in the middle of playing Grandia III and didn't have what I wanted to work on yet as I'm waiting for some packages to come in the mail, so this is kinda just filler until that point, but it's good filler!
