Crash Bash: Adventure Part 1: Prologue & Warp Room
I had not forgotten about covering this game, despite me taking so long to do it with all of the other important Crash games I've covered at this point (and there's STILL more from there).
The first non-Naughty Dog Crash game, as well as the final PS1 Crash game. They decided that he needed to go out with BANG and BOOM of party time fireworks!
I started this on the day of its 24th Anniversary!

This is going to cover this party game's Adventure Mode and the plot that not only inspired it, but also explains why the game's 8-character roster is set up the way that is it.
At the Hyperspace Temple, twin masks Aku Aku & Uka Uka were having any argument over which side between Good & Evil was the stronger side.
Obviously, they could not agree on it, and when Aku Aku had a different idea to decide this, Uka Uka got fired up and tried to challenge his brother to a direct fight. However, Aku Aku had informed Uka Uka that this was forbidden by the Ancients.
(Or at least possibly after the whole Time Twister incident where they did JUST THAT)
So then Uka Uka offered Aku Aku an alternative: A contest where chosen players battle against each other in their stead. Aku Aku agreed upon it, and the two masks then started summoning their teams.
First off, Aku Aku summoned (who else?) Crash Bandicoot to his side of Good. He was busy with an hourly nap. Probably one from after all those racing competitions.
Next up, Uka summoned Dr. Neo Cortex, who busy with plotting another Evil scheme at the time.
The players kept coming in from there. Aku Aku also summoned Crash's little sister, Coco Bandicoot, to join his side.
But then they were absolutely SWARMED by how many more players Uka Uka also summoned alongside Cortex: Dr. Nitrus Brio, Koala Kong, Tiny Tiger, and Dingodile...
...Oh, and another hybrid animal villain no one has even heard of before named Rilla Roo. Part-gorilla, part-kangaroo.
From there, Uka Uka was eager to immediately commence the games, but Aku Aku thought he was being overly clingy with his larger amount of players compared to his own. He forced him to sacrifice two of his players to the Good side in order to even the playing field.
Uka Uka, surprisingly, let his brother take two of them, and they ended up being Tiny and Dingodile. So now they will play for the Good side alongside Crash & Coco.

Like in most previous games, Crash Bash's Adventure Mode is frame via a Warp Room where you have to use teleporters to transport yourself into different games and modes to play.
Each of the first 4 Warp Rooms have a boss level that you have to unlock by getting enough trophies from the game levels preceding them (among other things in later Warp Rooms).
You can also save your progress here, like I did to finish off this video. You'll be seeing this a lot as you can possibly reach 200% completion by the time you're entirely done with this mode.
I'll cover each game, the basic rules that represent their game type, and the unique rules and gimmicks they may have all to themselves.
