Create DARK SOULS in Unity ► EP. 120 INPUT / ACTION QUEUE
In this video we cover how to create a basic Input/Action queuing system. What does this do? Essentially this system will store the input/action you attempted to perform, while performing another action, and it will attempt to play out this stored input/action as soon as it is able. We define a max time for this to last, meaning that if the input cannot be processed before the time has ended, nothing will happen.
This is especially useful for Combo attacks, no longer will you need to spam the attack button, or do it perfectly when the combo has become enabled. Pressing it just before will now see you performing the combo as soon as your character is able.
